The Global Standard
for NLP Modalities
The IFNLP offers accreditation at Trainer and Master Trainer levels and in Q4 of 2025 will offer an accreditation process for coaches. The accreditation process is open to anyone in the field who wishes to be recognized as having met the criteria.
When it comes to ensuring your readiness for accreditation with the IFNLP, we do not apply a one-size-fits-all approach. Whilst minimum standards and requirements do apply, we recognize that each person may have taken a different path to reach the point where they are ready for the assessment.
It is important to state that the IFNLP does not provide training in any of the following: Practitioner, Master Practitioner, Trainers Training, or Master Trainer programs in either NLP, Timeline Techniques, Hypnosis, or Coaching. Instead, we aim to provide a standardized means of vetting and accrediting those already established in these fields.
Certification vs. Accreditation
“The reputation of the IFNLP is only as good as those whose services we actively promote”
— Simon Gledhill
Certification
Many schools and organizations offer certifications in NLP and related modalities such as Hypnosis, Timeline Techniques, and Coaching. The standards of each school and the process undertaken to evaluate the student prior to certification differs and as such the certificate does not guarantee the standards regarding knowledge, experience, or competence of an individual or an organization.
One of the many goals of the IFNLP is to raise the standard and reputation of the field. We will do this by working together with our members to continually raise the bar and set ever-increasing standards for our members.
The IFNLP will be accepting members at the ‘Certified Level’ before the close of 2025 as we are aware that there are many who take the field seriously and are committed to using the the skills learned in other careers. Prior to acceptance as a certified member, we will require that you provide us with all relevant certification and other relevant information which we will request following our initial conversation.
Accreditation
Accreditation is a process wherein we thoroughly assess individuals at the levels of Trainer and Master Trainer over a 4 day period. In Q4 of 2025, we will also offer an accreditation process for coaches.
The process is robust, open, and transparent and as such gives us certainty about the experience, knowledge, and competency of all those accredited. Final accreditation will never be conducted by an individual who has been involved in the individual’s certification training.
Having successfully completed the accreditation process, agreed to abide by our code of ethics, and committing to ongoing personal development with all relevant documentation submitted as and when required we will be honored to promote your services on all our platforms and will invite you to join our regional networks and specific ‘thought leadership’ groups.
The process of accreditation is outlined on the ‘Trainer ‘and ‘Master Trainer’ accreditation pages, for full details of all that is entailed in becoming accredited we ask that you reach out and connect to a member of our team.
